New Evidence Reveals Half of Pilots Were Only Assigned to 9/11 Flights at the Last Minute

Thomas McGuinness, the co-pilot of American Airlines Flight 11 before it became the first plane to be hijacked in the 9/11 attacks, only assigned himself to be on the flight the afternoon before September 11, 2001, and pushed from it the original co-pilot, who had put his name down for the flight less than half an hour earlier. This new information means that, curiously, half of the pilots and co-pilots originally at the controls of the four aircraft involved in the attacks are now known to have been assigned to the doomed flights at the last minute, very shortly before September 11. Additionally, more than half of the flight attendants and many of the passengers are known to have, similarly, not originally been booked onto those flights.

The details of McGuinness’s late assignment to Flight 11 were revealed recently by Steve Scheibner, who was originally going to be the plane’s co-pilot. In a short film released on the Internet just before the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Scheibner described how McGuinness came to replace him on Flight 11 and thereby saved his life.

FLIGHT 11 HAD ‘NO PILOT ASSIGNED TO IT YET’

At the time of the 9/11 attacks, Scheibner was a fundamentalist Baptist pastor and a commander in the Naval Reserves, but he also worked part-time as an on-call pilot for American Airlines. [1] He had been available to fly on September 11. “So at about three o’clock in the afternoon of September 10,” Scheibner recalled, “I sat down at the computer and I logged in like I normally do, to check to see if there was any unassigned flying for the next day. And sure enough there was one trip that was available on September 11. It was American Airlines Flight 11 out of Boston’s Logan Airport to Los Angeles.” Scheibner looked at the flight and could see that “there was no pilot assigned to it yet.”

Scheibner checked if there were any reserve pilots available to take the flight. But, he said, “It just so happened [that] on September 11, 2001, there was only one guy available to go flying on that day and that was me.” He therefore put his name down for Flight 11. He told his wife he would be flying the following day and packed his bags ready for the trip.

Military Officials Ignored Cheney’s 9/11 Shoot-down Order

Cheney gave an order to shoot down any aircraft on 9/11 contrary to what the 9/11 Commission Report was left to believe. The order was still given way too late, but more importantly is who it was given by. It would be illegal for the military to listen to the VP for a shootdown order because only the President and Sec. of Def. Rumsfeld had the legal ability. Our military followed protocol. The importance comes because it is most likely that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld knew this would be the case, and planned it to be such. Bush and Rumsfeld were impossible to be found or contacted in the critical moments where they might have stopped the 9/11 attacks…..where is the media folks? Newly published audio this week reveals that Vice President Dick Cheney’s infamous Sept. 11, 2001 order to shoot down rogue civilian aircraft was ignored by military officials, who instead ordered pilots to only identify suspect aircraft.

That revelation is one of many in newly released audio recordings compiled by investigators for the 9/11 Commission, published this week by The Rutgers Law Review. Featuring voices from employees at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and American Airlines, the newly released multimedia provides a glimpse at the chaos that emerged as the attack progressed.

Most striking of all is the revelation that an order by Vice President Dick Cheney was ignored by the military, which saw his order to shoot down aircraft as outside the chain of command. Instead of acknowledging the order to shoot down civilian aircraft and carrying it out, NORAD ordered fighters to confirm aircraft tail numbers first and report back for further instructions.

Cheney’s order was given at “about 10:15″ a.m., according to the former VP’s memoirs, but the 9/11 Commission Report shows United flight 93 going down at 10:06 a.m. Had the military followed Cheney’s order, civilian aircraft scrambling to get out of the sky could have been shot down, exponentially amplifying the day’s tragedy.

Automatic Autopilot Override of Pilot Control of Boeing Aircraft Available Circa 2001

The capability of an aircraft Flight Management Computer (FMC) to take control of an aircraft away from a pilot and turn over control to its autopilot system apparently existed circa September 11, 2001. In a 2003 “Aviation Week” report, Honeywell describes an already existing “secret” disabling FMC code that can allow a GPS-guided aircraft autopilot system to take away control of an aircraft from a pilot during emergencies. Honeywell state-of-the-art Flight Management Systems (FMS) were used by the four aircraft reportedly hijacked on September 11, 2001.

“Assisted recovery builds on existing enhanced ground proximity warning systems (EGPWS), autopilot or fly-by-wire technologies to prevent an aircraft from crashing into terrain or buildings … If pilots don’t respond to warnings within a certain amount of time, assisted recovery directs autopilot or fly-by-wire control systems to steer aircraft away from a crash … A Honeywell spokesman said an override option does exist in its assisted recovery system through a secret disabling code.“[1]

Reddit alerts us to the existence of an unsettling thread on aviation site airliners.net dated November 30, 2000, in which forumers debated whether or not the World Trade Center “could survive an 767-300 impact.”

Several commenters chastised the original poster for asking such a morbid question, but there are some eerily prescient responses in the thread: While the general (though not unanimous) consensus was that the WTC would stay standing, but with heavy damage, and most (though not all) repliers took the question as referring to an accidental crash rather than a terrorist attack, they predicted the danger to people on the ground as well as in the buildings and in the plane.

Sonoma County Landing for 9/11 Jet

Wingless and its bubble cockpit covered with white cloth, the first jet fighter that was scrambled during the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks arrived Tuesday at the Sonoma County airport, where it will become the centerpiece of a 9/11 memorial.

6 Angles on 9/11 Capture First Attack; Are There More?

The video of the first attack on the Towers comes via the YouTube user 911allcausticcamera again. All known video captures of the first attack have been condensed into one video.

I have to assume that there is still more video footage of the first attack the public has not seen yet.  Here  is why:

There is also the mysterious case of the “dancing Israeli’s” as they have been dubbed, whose “purpose was to document the event”.

So where is this footage that the Israeli’s filmed, and what did George W. Bush watch on 9/11/01 in his limo?


Do you believe the Official Conspiracy Theory (OCT) regarding 9/11?

Some people believe an outlandish conspiracy theory involving 19 Arab hijackers who allegedly: commandeered four commercial jets with nothing more than their cunning, wit, resolve, hatred of America, and some box cutters; then proceed to fly these aircraft around US airspace unfettered for a total lapsed time of over an hour; on three of the planes, pulled stunning flight maneuvers beyond the capability of even expert pilots; and, managed to cause damage to their targets — one of which just happens to have been the most heavily defended building in the world — so extreme as to be in clear violation of several well understood laws of Physics, Chemistry, and Thermodynamics. This amazing conspiracy theory is even more suspicious and bizarre in that it is the one proffered by the United States Government (USG) and the 9-11 Cover-Up Omission Commission. In the 9-11 Truth Movement we call it the Official Conspiracy Theory (OCT).

Thankfully, despite the best efforts of the corporate-controlled media and virtually the entire US Congress, there are literally millions of people in this country and millions more around the world who do not believe that these 19 Arabs, as clever as they purportedly were, could have somehow suspended the laws of Physics on 9-11.
