Sonoma County Landing for 9/11 Jet

Wingless and its bubble cockpit covered with white cloth, the first jet fighter that was scrambled during the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks arrived Tuesday at the Sonoma County airport, where it will become the centerpiece of a 9/11 memorial.

    Well, glory be! Now we know why the jets didn’t get off the ground for so damned long…..the F15’s didn’t have wings! Somebody should have told Boeing or Northrup to put better wings on the planes—I just knew there was a logical reason—when Norad said ‘stand down’ all the pilots ‘stood down’ on the wings and they broke off. Maybe next time, we should get our planes from China.
