A summary of news relating to 9/11 for the week of March 1 through March 7, 2010. ( Last weeks summary is here)
“September 11” has been announced by Yahoo! as their #1 searched news item in it’s 15 years of existence. Yahoo! has been around since 1994 and incorporated in 1995. The official story of 9/11 is publically available in many formats and reinforced through the media every day; so searching for “September 11” makes me think that people are looking for more answers. The 9/11 Commission did not explore the possibility of explosives and left over 70% of the Family Steering Committee’s questions unanswered. Another point is that these 15 years started in 1994 – 6 years before 9/11, showing the intensity to which people have searched for “September 11”.
The mainstream media has found another opportunity to try to exploit and marginalize 9/11 questioners even further. Within hours of learning that John Bedell had attacked Pentagon employees with a handgun, we learned from the media that “he was interested in September 11th conspiracies” and that he was “a 9/11 truther”. Nevermind that a majority of people in the U.S.A. and abroad question what really happened on 9/11/01. Just ask Yahoo! or look at the 9/11 polls over the years to see that “9/11 truth is a mainstream political reality, although it really is just good citizenry.
Speaking of the media and the Pentagon attack, Dylan Avery and Korey Rowe were questioned by ABC at the “Treason in America” conference. The interviewer eventually asked about John Bedell, the shooter at the Pentagon, as well as other meaningless, irrelevant questions. Not being new to this Dylan and Korey were quick to call the ABC interviewer out on his tactics and ploys of getting “sound bytes” to further marginalize a majority. ABC’s side of the story may be found here.
A FOIA request into transcript detailing Barry Jennings interactions with Micheal Hess has been refused by NIST. The importance of this is that Barry Jennings’ testimony states that he was “walking over bodies” in WTC 7 and also hearing and feeling “explosions” before towers 1 & 2 went down. He was apparently with Micheal Hess, OEM Supervisor, who has since not corroborated Barry’s story. Barry Jennings was on live news on 9/11 talking about explosions and stuck to his story all the way until his mysterious death in 2008. We still aren’t allowed to officially know what happened on 9/11/01 between Barry Jennings and Micheal Hess.
The complete 9/11 timeline has had some recent updates this week with some miscellaneous news items. This ranges from insider trading to war games on or in advance to 9/11. The complete 9/11 timeline is a huge research
The entire American Behaviorial Science month of February issue is devoted to State crimes against democracy, with a focus on 9/11. The PDF of that issue is a available here. And for a quick run down or summary for those of us with less time is available via Peter Phillips and Mickey Huff here, or another from Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth. Either way, it seems that questioning 9/11 is becoming more socially acceptable, albeit 9 years later.
And last of all for here and now is the not-so-subtle suggestions by the Obama administration to hold the 9/11 trials not in civilian courts, but military tribunals. This is against the wishes of the family members who lost loved ones on 9/11. No doubt having the trials in a military hearing will open the door to more secrecy, cover ups, and false truths. It will be interesting to see how they tie in Guantanamo to these trials if they do, as well as our “security”. The ACLU has taken it upon itself to try to pressure the Obama administration into holding civilian trials instead of Bush-era military hearings. You may support that effort here. The American Bar Association has also chimed in to the debate by saying they prefer the Obama administration to hold civilian trials.
If you did not hear one of Richard Gage’s radio interviews this week, the one on WBZ 1030 AM, a CBS affiliate was recorded and you may listen to it at the Gators 9/11 Truth website.
No doubt that there is more 9/11 news out there, this is just a summary of selected important articles this week.
Until next week….
